The medication works in several ways. It reduces the amount of sugar made by the liver, limits the amount of sugar absorbed into the body from the diet, and makes insuli receptors more sensitive (helping the body respond better to its own insuli). All of these effects cause a decrease in blood sugar levels.
Metformin HCl is recommended to store it in a cool, dry place, sealed from outside air. We ship the product in a double sealed bag which can be resealed. Another container is recommended sealing from outside air.
